Pasta Grannies

Chris showed me this video series called Pasta Grannies and it is better than anything I could have hoped for.

Each video provides helpful instructions on creating all types of pasta shapes and the recipes to go along with it.

We watched this video of Giovanna making some ravioli ragusani with a pork ragu as well as cavatelli to go along with it. We made some cavatelli for the first time and it turned out great! The texture could have been a bit better as we ran out of semolina but experimenting is what this is all about.

While we have ventured into home pasta making before the types were never anything interesting but I see this expanding our skills greatly.
